Hi kids I skied edith creek basin today and the skiing was good but the light was bad.
I wanted to warn that I found hoar forming on a crust 30cm from the ground in the snowpack. the snow above it was warmer but with the storm moving in I don't know how long that lasted it was on a south facing aspect I forgot my altimeter but I guess it was around 6000' all other tests showed nothing unstable but it is still something to keep an eye on.
