Being a new user here I thought I would showcase my nearly 12 months in a row all in the Lake Tahoe area.  We have no 14,000 ft. volcanos or permanent glaciers around the lake.  Mostly 9-10,000ft peaks offering a few thousand verticle feet on the average.  Thanks to our 800-900 inch snowfall this season it has made a 12 month season possible although difficult to achieve.  As I approach my 12th month this coming Saturday, Oct 1, I would like to show a few pics on my "big mountain" skiing this summer.
Around july 3 we used this type of transportation to access one of my favorite BC areas...Echo Lake via boat taxi.  The taxi gave me the opportunity to ski this.

A nice 2000ft line right off the boat dock.

As the summer progressed I branched out to a number of other places that offered a lot less vert but still a lot of fun.....to be continued
Thanks for posting and keeping us informed about Tahoe conditions.  One of TAY's former PNW locals is living in Reno now, he loves skiing summer patches, likely lurking here now and in search of September turns perhaps.

Keep 'em coming!
