Sunny forecast and a need to get lazy September turns meant Muir. Skiing was good to very good from the bench below Anvil to Pebble Creek. Bumpier above. Snow was smooth and very nice, if dirty, on the lower half of the snowfield. Back up for a second lap to get the Pebble Creek patch before heading home.

Fine first day of the season! Looks like fresh snow's coming up there today.

That pebble patch is always fun. Looks like it's been getting quite a workout this year.
