September 23, 2011, Mt. Daniel x 2

The last trip to Mt. Daniels, was such a nice ski I decided to give it a another try.  It was a a nice ski, but it was not the easy money it was in August.  This trip I hiked right up the center of the valley above Peggie's Pond, that involved some rock scrambling, but it went fine, The snow had firmed up a little, and made booting a more measured process,  it was a fine day with great views in all directions.  No one at Peggie's in the morning, but bumped into several nice groups on the way out.  As reported in August, the North side looked great, but I was not feeling tough enough for a lap on that side, but camping would make this a great place to investigate.  8:20 car to car and I managed 1600 vert.
