Despite threatening skies we made the drive to Fourth Crossing and were duly rewarded!  Clear when we arrived at 9, but the puffy clouds started forming and chasing us up the hill as we skinned.  We stopped at a good rocky windbreak at 8800', skied down into the fog at 8200', and got below it around 6200' to ski across the flats to Mazama Ridge where we saw Ron's tracks in the east basin.  Nice buttery turns down to the car, Ron was packing up and served beers to go with my blueberry scones.

The endless car to car ski season continues.  Slush Cup pond and surrounding sunning rocks are totally snow covered, maybe they will be clear by Labor Day?
Thanks for letting me tag along Silas.  Here's some of my (admittedly lame pics).

3rd picture ,those tracks that stand proud are mine.

You're gonna wear out those TLT 5P's before winter . . .

from Chuck's first pic it looks like continuous snow down Bundy's. Unbelievable.

Slush Cup pond? Maybe next year!

I count six trip reports from Silas this month and it's only the 15th!  What's the all-time record for trip reports in August?

Being that reports were combined July/August 2005 and prior, August 2010 has the most at 45 trip reports.  As far as most trip reports by one person, don't know.
