Hoped to find others on the Squak today but no, it was all mine. The usual crevasse at 8800' or so stopped me without a rope and/or moral support. Skiing down at 1215pm was perfect 1" buttery corn for me. Cuppy below 5000' and skiing the creekbed back to the trail at 4000' might not be possible much longer.

That's because the party was on the CD side, with at least 14 skiers summitting.
Silas, I should have contacted you. You could have joined us as a member of the "overdressed crowd".
