Got a post noon start up the trail, turned uphill in a creek mostly snow covered about 600 vertical feet above the trailhead. The snow was very cupped and open to the creek below in several spots, not sure if it was any faster than just walking the trail all the way up. I stopped around 6500' as incoming low clouds reduced visibility. The ski down was fun 2-3" slush on small soft cups to 5000', then bigger cups and runnels, and finally careful descent of the creekbed back to intersect the trail around 4000'.
