Determined to brave the dismal forecast, three of us enjoyed  Sunday sun and cloud drama at WA Pass, while managing to escape all precipitation but for a 3 minute shower. A short 1.5 mile hike brought us to continuous snow at the climbers cut-off trail below Liberty Bell. Explored the basin above Blue Lake and later in the day circled around for a final ski down from the shoulder of S. Early Winter Spire to the Blue lake Trail. Soft snow made for easy turns even on more suncupped aspects. Curiously, we encountered no other human wildlife, ski equipped or otherwise. Very strange!
We must have missed you. We were up on SEWS all day.  Saw only 2 other groups (3 total people).  On passed us on the arete then another came up to the ridge right as we finished the rappels.  Oh yeah, all the goats were over by us.  Glad to hear the snow was reasonable.
