Thanks to the assistance of a well educated weather maps interpreter, I found a great place for good skiing today. A local to the region guided us to a nice steep, soft, cupped run. The cups were great for booting up, and mostly soft enough not to loosen the dentures on the ride down. Snow from the car, but likely not much longer. Steep booting over a col into and out of Governor's Ridge basin.  Great start to my 64th year of life, I'm a blessed happy guy. Use it or lose it I hear.

Shaky tired shooting, sorry.  http://vimeo.com/26707042
Happy birthday Silas!  May you get more vertical in your second 63 years.

Happy birthday Silas.

You are certainly making the most of it. Thanks for sharing (and inspiring) via your frequent reporting.

Looks like your birthday tour paid off.

It was a pleasure to join you on your birthday tour and a beautiful day to boot.

looks like cornice failure is still a concern!

A wise man once told me "You should ski at least your age , every year" I think you pretty much have that covered! Happy Birthday you Dusty Old Fart!
