Headed for Winchester Mountain today, but a snowbank required parking two miles from Twin Lakes and walking quite a way to skinning. We decided we'd rather skin from the car, so we moved on to the Baker Ski Area upper parking lot. Money must be tight, there appears to be minimal progress on the plowing to the Visitor Center.
We managed one run in the Blueberry Chute and one partway up Herman before the clouds closed in and rain began. A quick check with our weather forecaster in Seattle convinced us to call it a day.
