Used the UW 4km GFS to aim for a narrow weather window at Sunrise, but at its suggestion, tried a diversion to Chinook. Neither Will nor I had ever been there, so we just skied things that looked good. Followed a fine booter up Yakima peak and met four fine folk on top. Skied up Naches until Nature closed the window with wind and rain. Fine day with a fine friend.
Snow: cuppy and runneled but soft. Nice corn where the cups aren't. Lots of yellow-green pollen. S slope above the N parking lot gave the highest quality turns.
