Crystal - 07/09....Ouch!

Aaaahhhh….get ready all my fans and my not so fans…incoming marketing report for lift served lazy folks like me Grin.  Gotta say today was a bunch better than expected, more sun, less clouds, warmer, but oh so sad about what little is left to ski Sad.  Started early (fourth in line waiting for a bucket ride….and the line was gone by bucket number 3), got first tracks down the center groomed line in GV, but had to hike down over rocks and gravel to unload the Gondy (down to the REX off load path),  jumped onto GV for the next hour or so riding mostly solo – another sad part about today was getting into GV bowl from GV chair, it was getting more challenging as the morning and light crowd progressed, another good point today – crowd was fairly light, never waited more than 30 seconds, but I was running the empty single line a bunch – till I hooked up with Brandon (?) from Alpy – very fun blasting around late morning/early afternoon, till some of the flats started getting pretty sticky.  Heard that Crystal has been very happy with the crowds this spring/summer ski season.  Also heard that this weekend might be it for skiing, but you just never know till the fat lady sings.  Gonna go tomorrow, since it might be the last Washington lift served day.  And then maybe I’ll be able to let it go Wink – till I get lucky and hike some big volcano with someone?Huh? Smiley....(24 GV runs - ouch)…...ddk  Smiley
