Still good skiing at Vesper. We were the first car in the lot, but got passed before the summit :'(
Saw about 8 skiers/boarders out enjoying the rare sunny 4th of July. We crossed the pass just north of everyone else in fairly consistent snow, so it seemed like the right way to go.

Is the mountain loop highway open yet coming from Granite Falls?
yeah, plenty of snow still and it doesn't seem to be melting too fast.
smilesinor, the mt loop is fully open so you can drive in circles until you get sick!
