Beautiful day trip up into the Enchantments. Hiked in soft boots to Colchuck Lake then booted up Asagard Pass. The snow was great for steps until noon, then the surface got a tad on the mushy side. Continued up the Dragontail SE headwall and summited by rocky scramble. The snow from the headwall down to the lake was excellent summer skiing. Beware of rockslides on the pass and several surface rocks. I imagine the snow will quickly be receding from the lake as it was showing melt holes. Plenty of turns to be had up high!
