July 2, 2011, Herman Saddle

We did a quick climb up Herman Saddle just west of Mt. Baker Ski Area with Peg, Jeff and Dawn - our first tour altogether is over 5 years (that is just sad..).  The coverage is still very deep (10-30 feet depending on aspect.  The flats are getting pretty sun cupped but the steeper the slope, the smoother the run.  I learned that filming summer snow with the GoPro is pretty jittery since the float that smooths out the footage is totally gone!
