July 2-5, Mt Jefferson circumnavigation
« on: 06/29/11, 01:52 PM »

Just got chatting with the rangers on Jefferson.  4+ ft of snow above 4,000-perfect for circumnavigating Jefferson.  Trip is all planned, conservative route at an average elevation of 6000 ft.  Has a short Glacier crossing.   30 miles.   Brisk rate of travel with early, pre-dawn rise and traveling till near sunset.  Looking for experience skiers with a sense of adventure.  Have winter circumnavigated Adams in previous years and this mountain in Summer.
Give me a call if interested-
