Met up with Kam and Andrew, another nanotech engineer, from New Zealand, for a ski day before their science conference. Kinda long drive from Tahoe to Tioga Pass (3 hrs). Then we skinned to the highest soft snow on Mt. Dana, skipping the talus and bulletproof snice along the final crest. Good 1" slush for 2000' then runneled and suncupped the rest of the way back to the car. A breeze kept us cool in the blazing sun.
