Davide, Liz and I skinned from ~.25 miles short of Helio trailhead and camped at ~5k' on the night of June 20th. The next day was summer solstice and we simuled the N ridge, finding rotten ice and unconsolidated snow on E aspect, more solid on N.
Skied Park HW to bergschrund after summiting, returned to top and descended, Davide and I on skis, Liz on board, Coleman HW. Upper slopes icy, perfect corn below the upper 'schrund, and sloppy after crossing the last 'schrund. Returned to camp, car, and B'ham for beers and grub at Bayou.
