June 21, Red Mountain

I was looking for a trip since I had not been out in months trying to graduate.  Lintermans and I left Seattle for Red Mountain at 6:30.  Probably left the car at central around 8:15.  The trail before the log bridge was patchy but skinable (not for long)  After the bridge it was smooth skinning until the second creek crossing (4200 ft).  At which point we boot packed to the summit.  Left the summit 11:30 for 1000 ft of smooth turns then a bit of sun cuppage until the creek. It was just enough to get my fix.  Made it back to the car by 1.  Sorry for the hasty report but I am still working on graduating.  Pictures to come.
