About a mile from car to snow, then all good. Leisurely morning, leaving lot at 8:30, snow was soft the whole way. Blissfully climbed in the cool clouds until about 6,000 (?) then blue sky and baking. Hikers, skiers, Baylor U geology students, and a small group with 8-10 yr old kids strung up and down the mountain. The happiest were the skiers!! A little heavier than corn but fun snow, more manky back under the cloud deck. Skier triggered loose sloughs in the afternoon on anything steep.
