Lucky for us the road to the easiest start of the southside route opened two days ago! There were 20 or so skiers on this perfect day. One guy reached the summit at 830am, maybe he had to work in the afternoon or liked to ski hard snow?
We got a leisurely start and enjoyed 3000' of soft 1" corn departing the false summit at 130pm. There was a bit of grippy skiing between 7000 and 6000' then nice corn to the road at 5000'.
