After Eric W (Hedonaut) and I skiied the S Face of Argonaut last weekend, Colchuck Glacier was so good I had to go back and get it again this season.

Last weekend I noticed the SW Face of Dragontail, and it looked fun, so yesterday Kat and I were off for some more local skiing in Der Enchantments.

SW Face of D-Tail:

Mtnr's Creek is snow free until the Stuart Lake junction and intermittent snow from there. Kat and I were still able to ski across the lake but its melting quick. Snow afforded good booting and was significantly more consolidated than the week before, especially with the hard freeze the night before.

D-Tail offered about 800 feet of good skiing with some firmed up debris in the constriction requiring some dodging. Colchuck Glacier was again excellent corn, though a bit grabby in spots. Another excellent trip with great company and ambiance!

Nice on both accounts!

I was wondering how I missed the TR on skisickness, but we where drinking in the smooth sounds of the chumstick liberation front with a guest appearance by Flora at the time.

Congrats!  Pete,  did you see my tracks down the south couloir on Argonaut? I ran in there the evening before you guys got there and took a quick lap on it ; )

good one(s) Pete.
