New to backcountry - suggested routes?

My dad and I are both experts skiiers, but neither of us has done much backcountry/touring. We're going to get started this summer (first trip planned for last weekend in june), and I'm hoping that some of you can recommend some good beginner routes. We can take any conditions and understand basic avy principles. Thanks much. I'd also be interested in hooking up with partners who are a little more experienced than I am. I won't hold you back. Trust me.
