May 4, 2011, Kendall ridge

Another race with the sun, but this time we got there a little earlier and picked our line a little more carefully. Zack and I had tried this about a week ago, after the last big dump, on an aimless Snoqualmie outing that - eeny meeny miny mo - took aim at the chutes. We did alright without a map and limited visibility, but got turned back by a steep South facing slope that neither of us felt too good about. Arcticcat2 joined us this time. Visibility was no problem. In fact it was a glorious day! North facing was still holding a little bit of the lighter snow and the rest was all variously effected by the sun and all the other myriad factors...
