My son is 12 and wanted to practice some ice climbing ;-) and beacon skills today.  We headed to Stevens Pass and found a snowbank in the shade about 20' tall that was hard enough to give him some practice.  After about 1.5 hours he was satisfied and we headed to the area behind the top of the Skyline chair for some beacon practice.  The ski down was awesome ;-)  Fun day out, we are both sunburned!  Lots of people on the hill having fun.  162" on the stake at the plot at Skyline.
Great pictures Oyvind.  It is wonderful to share your passions with your children.  Glad it was a good day.

Awesome way to spend the day :)!

Looks like a wonderful day Oyvind.

First and second photo: superb family diptych! N
