Early morning pre work tour up Guye Peak to take advantage of the sun. Conditions on the very top of Guye were nice, but once in the couloir, we encountered a couple inches of wet snow on top of uneven crust/frozen avi debris. Felt like I was learning to ski again... Couloir was well filled in.
Thanks for the TR, nice work.  What was your route of ascent?

Commonwealth, then up between Guye Peak and Cave Ridge.

Excellent day for such a trip! I was up i tha area on Super  Bowl Sunday, and it was all rain!! I've also heard this called, 'Big Guye' couloir. Thanks for the Beta...

Love the first and second photos. Nice feeling of being in the action.

Nice one Trevor et al.  Been looking at that one for a while.  Did the exit go on skis?

good to see the pics! nice sense of motion for sure.

the debris looks downright manageable, white but nothing horse sized...

Yes the exit was skiable, although it required a little side slipping
