WA Cascades West Slopes North (Mt Baker)

Was able to drive all the way to the trail head, 3700ft. Hiked up the trail. Skinned from 4900-7230ft. Had a good northerly run to 5800 on a few inches of powder above a firm base. Below 6500, snow had slight wind crust. Skinned back up to the easterly high point (7130) and skied out Grouse Creek to 4100ft. We were back at the car in 20 minutes.
The rain had done good job of firming up the base higher, and clearing the road and the trail. The summit looked a little windy, but inviting. We saw one other group of four ahead of us.
