Met up with TBill this Good Friday to tour a North Cascade gem.  We were able to drive up to about 2,200' up the forest road, on foot by 9am.  Peaked out HLP-N at around 1pm and took in the amazing views allowed by the consent of blue skies.  Energetic reactions on S-E exposures to no surprise; one foot soft slabs released with ease.  Climbed out of Hidden Lake, soft cold snow and a great run down N-NE exposure before climbing back up and riding out for a dusk arrival back at the car.  Previous signs of slides on N-NE aspects revealed debris piles of 1-2' slabs with very short travel distances, felt pretty stable upon skinning and poking around.  (As always, proceed at your own risk)
Sweet!  Nice work.  Still looking wintery up there.

Did that same tour last weekend. We spent a night just NW of the North peak. You definitely got MUCH better weather, we once saw a glimpse of blue sky between the snowing and blowing. But the snow was great!
