Did a scouting trip to assess snow and road conditions up toward Mt. Townsend. From Sequim, Forest Road 28 was blocked by snow in the neighborhood of Zion trail head, at approx 3K feet.
Bon Jon Pass had about a solid foot, and up two miles toward Mt Townsend on the forest Road there was about 2 solid feet.
We encountered a nice little spring snow storm with about 6" new at 3500 feet. Looks like a protracted touring season awaits us in the N. Olympics!

Thanks for the report. The Quilcene Ranger Station told me 2 weeks ago someone had driven to 4 miles or so from the south TH.
