April 17, 2011, - Cannon/Enchantments Skiramble

Scurried up Cannon from the northish, got spooked by the presence of 1-2' windslab as we climbed a couloir, so we bailed over the summit and out through the Enchantments via Prusik Pass. Fun day, crust formed most everywhere but the steep high and shady. Enchantments pristine. Expect considerable avy chunder E of Snow Creek, as well as above and below Nada Lake, long night (20+ hrs car to car). Avalanche bridged Snow Creek just upstream of the snowladen trail bridge. Didn't see any snow moving, but plenty of chunder below most sunny slopes, some rather recent. Mixed sun and sunny snow all day.
