decided to take advantage of all the new snow before the freezing level goes up. found close to 2' + of heavy, slabby snow atop sat/sun lighter density snow. whoomphing and cracking on convex slopes, and saw a good sized crown on a rock conxexity. so not the most stable. but in more sheltered areas, no real wind slab, but heavy new snow up to the thigh. did 3 laps on the chutes below 7th heaven chair. the snow snakes were out on the last lap though as the legs got tired from the heavy snow. should lay down a nice base, welcome winter!
