Worrid about rain at our crack of noon start, we were happy to have it turn to light snow at 3500'. East wind might have helped keep things cool. We found wet new snow on crust on open S aspect, same below 4500' in trees on all aspects. Good boot top powder 5400-4500' on N and NW aspects shaded from sun. Below 4000' was deep slush, glad my DIN setting was appropriate. Beware of slow twisting falls.
