A ski buddy forwarded me this link about the recent storm cycle affecting the Tahoe area. The photos and snow totals later in the thread are really quite impressive.

I'm optimistic that in 11 weeks and 5 days post my recent spinal surgery there just might be a snowpack remaining in The Sierra.

Once I begin my physical therapy in 6 weeks, I’m hopeful that I just might be able to do some spring skiing. I’ll definitely keep you posted because Jill and I are already planning a spring/summer ski trip along with some casual biking and wildflower viewing. It would be enjoyable sharing a campsite with you and your touring buddies and some cold beverages.
