Kyle, Dan and I met up for some touring in the Crystal BC vicinity. We quickly headed up and were blessed with some truly epic views and lines. Stability was good on N facing couliors. Sun-exposed terrain was getting heavy and with the occasional clouds and then wind later in the evening, we found our epic tree run descent marred by the breakable crust. However, the main runs of the day remained the highlight and then it was off to the Snorkeling Elk (as my friend Fletch says) to celebrate Kyle signing on with Eddie Bauer's First Ascent! Yeah, go Kyle.
