Headed up to Skyline Ridge with a new partner in search of some pow left over from Friday night.  Having ridden the lifts at Stevens the day before I knew that any snow that didn't get sun on Saturday would still be great despite the telemetry recording highs in the mid forties.  The northfacing slopes of Skyline Ridge provided plenty of sweet turns and only a few tracks from Saturday.  Snow was great all day with point releases on sun exposed aspects, but perfect stability even on steep slopes which didn't receive sun.  We made two runs down the north side before braving the almost supportive, but still breakable and very unpleasant, crust on the south slope.

Treed northwest aspects had great snow.

Snowshoes and board on your back makes earning your turns that much more work.  Thomas needs a split board.

Soft snow made for many fun little drops in an area filled with plenty of opportunities.
