beat the sprinkles out of the trail head and had easy traveling snow below 3,500. decided against crossing the bridge to only have to come back across the creek later. No worries of anything coming down from the ridge to my west this am and travel is nicer on that side.
a litle sticky on the up, but it was snowing lightly and a little breeezy with an occasional gust. Just below lake level it started to get very windy so sparkplug will be waiting for another day. climbed to about 5,600' above lil plug lake towards it's namesake mt.
decent was great! face shots up top, and buttery smooth in the talus field down to about 3,600'. so nice I had to do it twice!
I manned up and left the skins off til I hit the log bridge. no smoked salmon was consumed.
