Left Seattle at Seven 0 Dark in the pouring rain with Redshift to ski Hyak. I wisely took tire chains which we wouldn't need and left sunglasses at home which helped push the sun out. It stopped raining as we geared up in the parking lot, there was a few inches of PNW powder on top of the firm groomed runs and just the right consistency to allow skinning straight up the fall line. A lap on the front and two laps on the back and then back down to the car carving in creamy smoothness as it got warmer and dryer. I'd call it spring skiing.
Weaver! Good to see you back in the saddle - or should I say at the loom. That sounds like a good morning workout. Call me next time - I'll donate some yarns.
