Or so google maps calls it. Janitha and I parked at the Ross Lake gate on hwy 20 and snowmobiled up the road and parked at the Easy Pass junction. instead of heading south we went north and headed straight up the hill. Skinning was fairly easy going save for a few tricky steep spots. Snow down low was quite heavy though soft. As we climbed we encountered soft stashes mixed with wind/sun affected snow. There were no signs of instability but we did elect to stop short of the ridge as the trees were significantly thinning and becoming more exposed. I have never skied here before but the tree skiing was truly fantastic. Snow, though a it heavy, was immensely fun as the three spacing was terrific. For about 90% of the run, it was easy to pick a line through the forest. The other 10% was crashing through the brush and avoiding tree wells. All in all a great day out.
