Also, stay off my pow!

Spoken like a true Texas mountain transplant  Wink

I hope you're right though--it's been desperate skiing the last three weeks, despite a few lucky & appreciated powder days, and my optimism will start waning about mid-month.

You'll learn very quickly that NWAC > NOAA for forecasting. The NOAA point forecasts are amusing, but good mostly as link bait for blogs/ski areas trying to get Web traffic by saying things like "18 feet of snow forecast this week!!!!"

Any one know if Hyak, sliver fur, Mt Catherine have enough to tour on? Thinking of mucking around and testing out new gear on Sunday.

There is plenty of snow at Hyak now, but it is heavy.  Temp 33 and snowing. We had around 15" past 24hrs and they expect another 10" today.
