Feb 20, 2011, Kendall peak area

Went to Kendall Peak area this morning enjoying the great weather and had some good skiing conditions.  Best snow was in/near trees where the sun hasn't shined lately.  Also found some snow in the open areas that had been sun softened enough by late morning to be fun too but this was hit or miss.  Prob 4 - 6 inches of the soft(er) stuff on firm.  Did encounter some crusty stuff as well but all in all easy and fun skiing and great views all around.

Ski partner had the camera so hope to post some pics next day or so. 

Also, met Drew out there today on his second lap.  Enjoyed skiing with him leading most of the way back to the trailhead.  Thanks Drew, nice meeting and skiing with you.
