Foggy morning, 99.99% humidity. As we skinned firm snow in the trees and then 4-6" slush under a thin (rain?) crust, the skies became more blue.  No wind except on ridge crest, thinner crust and "drier" snow under it as we gained altitude. My Mannys did a nice job slicing the crust 6000'-5000', and smearing the goo 5000'-4000'.  Below 4000' we found corn meal mushy snow.

Good exercise, but I want the baby girl (la nina) to bring my powder back. :-(
digitally we did uhhh 9.11 miles, or was that 6.99? hardcoded into stats, and hard to say... though we did all agree the announcers voice was hot.
Transceiver Training Park is solar, should be working today, wasn't yesterday - nevertheless the views were fantastic. It's amazing what one can do and still be home by 3:30. Fun day, good to meet you both!

Thanks for that picture at the beacon park Cumulus.  You must have had to do some photoshop to make me look that good.  Now that the sun an corn is out I'm stuck on the couch with the flu Arggg.

sorry to hear about the flu, maybe something better than corn on the couch
here's another pic (w/o eyes closed!) - red jacket with red mountain
