On saturday, took a new AT skier to join the hordes going for Muir. Super sunny, warm, clear, and crowded.
Stopped at Panorama Point, had lunch, decided to make it a quick day and rode down W/SW slopes back to Paradise on dust/slush on supportive crust. Saw 5-6 natural releases across the valley during the day on steep east-facing slopes over the Nisqually glacier. Noticeable leeward windloading on the ridge around Panorama Point.
