what a great day. Three of us arrived at Tipsoo Lake parking lot at around 9:00am to cold temps, new snow and filtered sun. Headed around south side of Naches Peak to ski those slopes before the sun destroyed the new powder. Nice 10 inches of new over last weekend's rocky 4 inches. We skied a couple runs while working our way toward the saddle at the Dewey Lake trail junction. We crossed over to the east side of Naches to finish the day on slopes untouched by the sun. Excellent. Ended at the north side glades for one final run. Great snow everywhere. Decent coverage, but rock skis still recommended. Poor bond to 10 inch deep crust layer, but no problems noted on the slopes that we were skiing.
