Mt. Baker NYE Tour

Headed out with J,J,A & S to explore Mt. Baker area for the first time and was just blown away!  We did the Table Mt. tour but did a side trip to Ptarmagin Ridge and got some extra runs in.  As Jack said, best runs of the year...no other days to try, a new chapter tomorrow!  As you might guess from the pics we ended up coming back late with some headlamp turns to get down to Bagley Lakes. 

The snow was amazing on all side, particularly the North slopes which was great powder becuase it was so cold.  No avy concerns and ran into several folks who were camping out that way, nice!  Our exit was via a chute (must have a name) to the south of Herman's saddle - was a little interesting with low light!

A fantastic way to enjoy New Years - we got home in time to celebrate vicarously on TV with the Space Needle crowd :).
