Parked at the ventilator and headed up the logging road. At the upper clearcut we followed an existing skin that went left of the cut, sidehilling through trees and alder. Adventurous, but not much fun. We were foolish enough to follow the same track up from the bowl to climbers right from the bowl instead of directly up Arrowhead. Kept thinking they would cut left any time but they never did and then the track ended where they descended. Tried to cut back left above some small cliff bands and eventually ended up booting the last bit to the ridge west of Arrowhead still pretty far off track. Fortunately the ridge top was easy and we quickly summited. Variable wind loading even on the west face, but the bond to crust was very good. Skiing was excellent, lower clearcut probably needs 6 more feet to be great skiing.
