The sun was out
Clouds were away
Nothing to stop what's going to be another perfect day

The hike up was peaceful
Trails void
Of the typical Muir circus that we try to avoid

Once above Pebble Creek
Skinning at last
As we passed a boarder with all his gear on back ;D

Onward to Moon Rocks then Anvil
When Phil came past
With his splitboard hauling ass

So I marched on
The sun beating down
On some of the smoothest snow that we soon will ride

Just above Anvil
Muir could be seen
But the closer we got the further it seemed

We're almost there
But 9400ft was the spot
I could go no further and it was damn hot >:(

As we marinated in the sun
Some skiers came past
It was Steve and posse who were all hauling ass

We exchanged hello's
Then we were on our way
Carving corn on this fine September day

Lots of turns were made
Along with some air
As I launched off cornices with little or no care

So in the end
We just kicked back
Enjoying our beers and watching the Hawks kick Friscos ass ;D

Nice poem Snoslut! creative TR  ;)

:D  thanks for the smiles this morning.   ;D

definitley an awsome day - got a late start, around 11am from paradise.  Hit snow around 7,000 feet, and skined up some nice corn to muir.  Great ski down, except the last few hundred feet, which had some deep boot holes that I got caught up in...  I needed a bath anyways.  There are some pictures from yesterday and september 19th at:
