Despite the forecast of showers and a drastic increase in temps since Monday, khyak and I had the day off and headed to Muir. Weather was actually decent as we arrived in the Paradise lot at the crack of 11:00, but not surprisingly deteriorated as we climbed. Good skinning still from about 500vf above Pebble Creek, the warming trend has the snow a bit sticky but hey it's clean, there's no suncups, and it's September . . . Luck was with us, as a heavy rain started to fall about 15 minutes after we arrived back at the car!

Major freshie envy going on here.  >:( Nice pics, BTW.

How did your F1s do driving the REXs?

Hey, Paul, they worked great - I think it'll be a nice setup for mid-winter touring, pretty light & pretty wide. The 177 is a bit softer than my 184's.
