Hit up the Zigzag trees west of T-line today with my brother. Given it was raining in Government Camp, we were pretty pleased to find wind effected powder over by Zigzag Canyon. Made 5 laps in the trees enjoying decent visiblity and snow quality.
Pretty good coverage except on the windward canyon walls you have to cross on the way out and back.
Now I'm off to do a snow dance to get the freezing levels below Govy so we can shred some Ski Bowl lift served in the morning ;)

Good to hear some reports from the Mt. Hood area. I was at Ski Bowl Wednesday. Decent coverage in the bowl and excellent quality snow. Daw 5 other guys outh there the whole day.
I've done a little skiing around zigzag canyon. There are some awesome lines on some of those canyon walls if only they didn;t get hammered by the wind. Let me know if you ever need a partner. I'd like to get to know that area a bit better.
