Hyak first time skiing!

An amazing day! My buddy and i met in northbend, hopped in the 4 wheel drive, and headed up to hyak. It was my first real time skiing at hyak, and it was a memorable ski trip. We started out at about 10 AM and snowshoed up the cat track for most of the way. It was a pretty good hike, and being my fat self, i was tired by the time i got to the top. I clicked into my skis, and by buddy put his snowboard on, we then commenced to ski the pow! unfortunately i was tired this morning, and i forgot to bring my goggles. It was snowing pretty hard, and as soon as i started moving fast i couldn't see at all. Every once in a while i would drop off of a small drop, get into the backseat, and promptly make a crater in the hill(sorry BC skiers!). i fell about 5 times in general, but had an amazing day and skied some deep for November powder at one of my favorite new mountains!  ;D
