First powder turns of the season, it doesn't get much better than this, especially for late October...........

I headed to Hoodoo today with Todd to get in a dawn patrol.  The weather was clear and cold, it had snowed about 25-30 inches in the last few days, and sunny skies greeted us as we pulled into the parking lot.  We skinned to the top in relatively short order.  The sunrise was pretty spectacular.  I took this shot of Todd as we reached the top....

The first run down was excellent, and the snow was light and deep.  I didn't any rocks or trees...

I headed back up for one more lap, which didn't disappoint.  Back at the car, I had a hard time leaving the goods, but needed to get back to work.  We made it to work by 10:45.  Conditions couldn't have been much better.  Don't know how long it will last though, higher temps and freezing levels forecast this week, with rain possible.

WOW!Beautiful.
Well played!

Cold smoke in Oregon?

Nice pics. Love HooDoo

Awesome!  Can't wait to get down south.
